Course Objectives This course aims that students will be able to identify functional, cultural and formal characters by understanding different communal and historical contexts of architecture.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to explain the social role of architecture
  • Will be able to explain types of the traditional architectural forms
  • Will be able to identify classical Greek and Roman architectural forms
  • Will be able to identify architectural plan types
  • Will be able to understand the basic structural forms
Course Description Periods of history of architecture and theories and movements of these periods.
